About the artist:
Alexis has established herself with a unique folky style, instantly recognisable as her own.
Painting is in her blood, encouraged by her family from a young age. She began painting flash at 16, selling art prints before expanding into tattooing. Growing up in Melbourne, she did her first tattoo in 2013 under the guidance of Jed Hill in Ballarat. After relocating to the Gold Coast in 2015, she spent time working with the Braniff family at Gold Coast Tattoos and Crossfire Tattoos.
Alexis has been part of the Alfred Street Tattoo crew in Mermaid Beach since 2017, and plans to keep the Gold Coast as her home base between her worldly travels and adventures.
