A$AP Rocky is known for his innovative and visually brilliant music videos, and his latest collaborative effort with Skepta is no exception. The 'Praise the Lord (Da Shine)' video shows both A$AP's life in NYC and Skepta's life in London through split screen.
A$AP has said that London is his favourite place in the world; "It’s the best of all, and true to all its clichés."
In an interview with Complex, A$AP explained that this track is sentimental; "It takes me back in a place, my childhood or past life that I can’t even explain," he said. "It’s nostalgic."
When this album was being made in Berlin with Kanye West, A$AP also told Complex that "Kanye turned the hotel we were staying at into a Yeezy compound. He was designing sneakers in one suite, making music in one suite, and I was making music in my suite. It was crazy. We shut down the whole hotel.”
