CK Stylist Dela gives a rundown on these new collaboration drops. Converse release a selection bringing together the upper echelon blending to an iconic sneaker silhouette. John Varvatos a world famous high-class designer known for making Calvin Klein the way it is today with the revolutionary work he did in 1992 presents his take on the timeless Converse All Star Hi. Starting his own brand in at the end of 2000 in New York, Varvatos was named GQ’s Designer of the Year in 2007. With standout jackets ranging from $2500AUD to $6500 and average pricing at about $4000 this is definitely a higher end collaboration for the footwear mainstays Converse. With a run at demonstrating their range of being able to produce high-end that appeals to everyone Converse have two separate variations of the sneaker and as Dela says in the video they are extremely diverse. With a bit of creativity they would stand out well and add a touch of street culture to a smartly dressed function otherwise throw them with some solid denim and a tee for that casual steeze.
