Culture Kings' Chadstone Opening Was Out Of This World
Kate Atkinson ·
Culture Kings opened their seventh national store at Chadstone Shopping Centre this weekend and pulled out all the stops to make sure it was an event to remember.
People were lining up from 6am to be among the first to step through the doors of Culture Kings, Chadstone. Upon opening at 10am, people flooded into the store and never stopped. The line spanned from the front of the store, spiralling to the second level of the shopping centre and onwards for up to 300 metres more and never died down once. Staff kept the store open past trading hours just to accomodate for the people still waiting in line at that time.
Aside from major brands like Carré, Ivy Park, Nike, Saint Morta, adidas and more inside the store, the major highlight of the day were the two CK Holy Grail machines. The major prize of the day was a trip to Miami with a double pass to the Miami MLB All-Star Game, including flights and accommodation all thanks to New Era, was won by a lucky customer who tried their hand on the Holy Grails.
Official Not For Sale Culture Kings x Spalding basketballs, Boujee Bathrobes and CK Chadstone staff shirts were also given away to celebrate the grand opening. Limited edition CK x Krispy Kreme donuts created especially for Culture Kings' Chadstone store opening were also available for all customers that visited the store.
Another focal point of Culture Kings' brand new Chadstone store was the revolutionary in-store display screens and shop front. The new store also has CK signature Barbershop and in-store DJ booth.
Culture Kings' very own DJ Owe carried everyone through the day with his magic on the decks and was later joined by DJ Horizon and Kennyon Brown for the official VIP afterparty.
Some of the most notable people in Melbourne partied through the night and onto The Emerson to welcome Culture Kings to Chadstone including players from the Western Bulldogs and Melbourne Storm as well as representatives from some of Culture Kings' leading brands and more.
A huge thank-you to all of Culture Kings' sponsors for making this event possible and memorable including Nana Judy, Coors, The Emerson and Redbull.
