McGregor took another jab at Mayweather by posting a photo of Mayweather's dad while Mayweather took a more professional approach and posted a video announcing the details.
Mayweather will be ending a 23-month retirement at age 40 to take McGregor out of the octagon and into the ring as they box it out.
The fight will be broadcast on Showtime PPV and take place at T-Mobile Arena on 26 August.
