Kevin Durant Is Glad The Warriors Lost The 2016-17 NBA Championship

Kevin Durant has told the world how the Golden State Warriors losing the 2016-17 NBA Championship sealed his decision to sign with the club.

In what was an incredible finals series for many reasons, Durant admits that the Warriors blowing a 3-1 NBA finals was a driving force in the then Free-agent acquisition to sign on with the already historic team.

As part of a panel at the ENCORE Award ceremony at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, the former Thunder star stated "As they lost, it became more and more real every day," Durant said. "But we don't have to talk about (what would have happened if the Warriors had won the title), because they didn't get the job done, and they came after me."

"I guess you could say I'm glad that they lost."
