Rap Dominates The Billboard Charts šŸ”„

Rap Dominates The Billboard Charts šŸ”„

Childish Gambino's 'This Is America' has kept its number one position on the Billboard Hot 100 for the second week running which signifies a huge success for rap music - the top 4 songs of the Billboard Hot 10 for the past two weeks are all rap bangers.Ā

Behind 'This Is America' sits Drake with 'Nice for What' and 'God's Plan', while 'Psycho' by Post Malone and Ty Dolla $ign is at number four. The top four songs being all part of the rap genre hasn't happened since 2003, 15 years ago.Ā

Throughout the Hot 100, rap is a strongĀ player and has the monopoly on most of the songs right now. Post Malone and J Cole are still consistently throughout the chart considering all the records they have broken recently.Ā

Make sure you're staying up to date with the Culture Kings News Page to cop the latest in music, sport and streetwear.Ā
