XXXTentacion Murder Suspect Might Not Be Able To Stand Trial

22-year-old Michael Boatwright was one of the four men accused of being involved in the death of XXXTentacion, however, he may not be able to stand trial. Boatwright will undergo a mental exam to determine whether he is fit enough mentally to stand in the trial of XXXTentacion's murder.

Boatwright is suspected of firing the weapon that killed XXX. He was arrested with a warrant for first-degree murder on July 10th.

Complex claims that court documents show that a judge has ordered the exam to decide whether the case can proceed with him or not. We will know the verdict on this by the end of August.

The test will prove if Boatwright can communicate “pertinent facts” to his attorney, understand the charges he faces, the potential consequences, the nature of a court case and if he can behave appropriately in court, and if he can testify in a relevant way.
