The question of whether or not Instagram Stories could live up to, and compete with Snapchat has been answered, as it has been reported that more than 100 million daily active users use the barely 2-month-old feature. Undoubtedly inspired by the ever-popular Snapchat, IG Stories is seeing huge success with people able to hit the Explore page and interact with each other via suggesting who to follow.

With IG Stories' numbers currently at 2/3 of Snapchat's, it remains to be seen where this relatively new feature can take the photo-sharing app as it looks to become the big kid in town.
