Here's what we know about Cardi B: she's pregnant with Offset's baby and made her Coachella debut this year.
Here's what we know about Azealia Banks: she thinks the world is flat. I'm not kidding.
The pair have been feuding since September when Azealia called Cardi B the 'poor man's Nicki Minaj'.
Cardi's response was to share a video of Azealia in a club dancing to her hit 'Bodak Yellow' with the caption "One of the reasons Bodak Yellow went #1 cuz even the HATERS LOVE IT!!"
Azealia then took to an interivew on 'The Breakfast Club' to say “There was just this really, really, really intelligent conversation going on nationally and then everything just kind of changed, and then it was, like, Cardi B.” She claimed she wasn't talking about Cardi B's music but instead she was "talking about this caricature of a black woman that black women themselves, would never be able to get away with. If my spelling and grammar was that bad, I’d be canceled... I just don't understand the extreme lack of couth. I've never seen that at the forefront of rap. I didn't know that the standards...the bar...would be lowered so much."
Cardi then took to social media to reply.
After this, Cardi deleted her Instagram and made her Twitter completely private.
Then, even with Cardi off social media, Azealia shared a photo of Cardi on Instagram, with her since-deleted caption claiming "you and whoever wrote this reply for you don’t have the intelligence to engage in this not-so-complex discussion. I spoke about it for all of two minutes in an interview and you respond by calling me unattractive, mentioning my bleaching my skin, and telling me to 'suck your ass', immediately proving yourself to be exactly who I thought you were..." and so on.
Which one of them is in the right here? Who's to say at this point - the only thing we're sure of is that this saga won't end here. Keep up with us on our Culture Kings News Page to stay up-to-date with all this celeb drama.
